Who is responsible for this website?
The website wowsoftware.net is operated by WowSoftware, an independent studio that builds apps, software and SaaS. For any question about this policy or about your personal data, you can write to wowareofficial@gmail.com.
This policy covers the WowSoftware website only. Each WowSoftware app has its own official website, listed on the Products page, and those websites and the apps themselves are described by their own terms and privacy information.
What data does this website collect?
The WowSoftware website is a static website. Every page is a pre-built HTML file that is the same for every visitor. The website has no user database, no login, no comment system and no forms, so WowSoftware does not collect names, phone numbers, payment details or any other information through the website itself.
The website does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, does not include advertising pixels, and does not embed social media widgets, videos or maps from third parties. Fonts, images and styles are served from the same domain as the pages, so loading a page does not send your browser to other companies' servers.
What does the hosting provider process?
The WowSoftware website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a static hosting service run by Cloudflare, Inc. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare necessarily receives technical information about that request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, your browser's user agent string and the referring page. Cloudflare uses this information to deliver the page, to keep the service reliable and to protect websites against abuse and attacks.
WowSoftware does not use this information to identify visitors and does not combine it with other data. Cloudflare processes it under its own privacy policy, which you can read at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Cloudflare may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States.
What happens when you email WowSoftware?
The only way to contact WowSoftware through this website is by email. If you write to wowareofficial@gmail.com, WowSoftware receives your email address, your name if your email program includes it, and whatever you choose to write in the message. This information is used only to read and answer your message and to keep a record of the conversation in case you follow up.
Email to WowSoftware is handled by the email provider that hosts the wowareofficial@gmail.com mailbox, which stores messages on its own servers. Please do not send passwords, license keys you want to keep private, or other sensitive information by email. You can ask for your email conversation to be deleted at any time.
Does this website use cookies?
No. The WowSoftware website does not set any cookies and does not use local storage or similar technologies to recognise you between visits. Because no cookies or trackers are used, the website does not show a cookie banner. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated before any such technology is added.
Links to product websites
Pages on this website link to the official websites of WowSoftware apps, which are listed on the Products page, and to guides on those websites. When you follow such a link you leave the WowSoftware website. Information you give on another website, for example when you buy a license or download an app, is handled under that website's own terms and privacy information.
What are your rights?
Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation or the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you rights over your personal data. These can include the right to know what personal data is held about you, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use.
In practice, the only personal data WowSoftware holds because of this website is the content of emails you have sent. To use any of your rights, email wowareofficial@gmail.com from the address you wrote from. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
The WowSoftware website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. WowSoftware does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent personal data by email, please get in touch and it will be deleted.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website changes, for example if a new feature is added that processes personal data. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated. Significant changes will be described on this page.
